The Mission Control Pack

Mission Control is the review layer from which leaders see the galaxy as a whole. It is not another planet and it is not a demand for more dashboards.

The one-page view

Include the current Functional Map, one fresh primary signal for each function that genuinely needs steering, material exceptions and commitments, failing handoffs under repair, the current LEOS cycle, decisions required and the next review trigger.

Signal register

A signal is useful when it changes a decision. Avoid universal targets detached from the company’s economics, cycle times and risk.

Review questions

• What changed since the last review?
• Which outcome is outside the agreed range or standard?
• Is the signal fresh enough to trust?
• Which handoff or authority boundary explains the exception?
• What decision is required, by whom and by when?
• Which issue belongs in the next LEOS cycle?
• What no longer deserves attention?

Use the table below as a container only. Remove readings that do not change a decision, replace universal bands with company-specific boundaries and keep the Functional Map as the view of the business.
