The Ten Minimum Viable Systems

A Minimum Viable System is the first usable version: it solves one real problem today, can be used immediately, creates enough visibility to improve later, and survives contact with a Monday morning.

None of the lists below requires software you do not already have. Each one has a four-person version underneath it, because if the full list feels impossible at your size, the answer is a shorter list, not a longer timeline.


1. Sales

Four weeks, in order. Week one: one place, every live opportunity in it with owner, stage, next action, date, and accept that the data will be embarrassing. Week two: stage definitions and qualification criteria, written out loud with whoever sells. Week three: start the weekly review even though the system is imperfect. Week four: handover record and discount bands.


2. Marketing
